Appointed by the Emir, a Hakimi oversees the administration, justice, and security of a specific district within the emirate. Their responsibilities include tax collection, maintaining law and order, and implementing the Emir's policies at the local level. This role has been integral to the hierarchical system of governance, ensuring effective control and management of various regions under the emirate's jurisdiction.
