In a remote village, in ancient China, there lived a couple who dreamt of giving their three sons the finest education money could buy. They sent the boys to a shaolin temple to be trained in martial arts, discipline and endurance. The training took a whole year, and when they came home, they couldn't wait to show off their new talents to their parents.
The first two boys put on an impressive show, but the third boy just stood there. He claimed that he wasn't trained all. The only thing they made him do was to stand around and slap at water all day, with the same hand. The parents were bewildered. He claimed the trainers would bring in a large bowl of water, every morning and get him to continue slapping at the surface, and when the water volume goes down, they would fill it up again. He did that all day, every day for a whole year.
"That is all?" The parents asked.
"Yes." He replied.
"Show us?" The parents said.
He lifted his hand and slapped their large wooden table, and the table shattered to bits. surprising even him.
